Watershed Augmented Reality Mural (Art Documentation) This video documents the Watershed Augmeted Reality Mural, an interactive art installation at the Symbiosis Gathering 2009. Artists Gabe Shaughnessy and Dan Cohen painted a mural representing the story of how San Francisco gets its water and augmented that painting with digital projections triggered via a custom midi controller by those viewing the painting. MarchFourth's 6th Aniversary Shows - "Baby" (Video Audition) This video is from the 2009 March Fourth aniversary snows. Video was taped at all 4 shows, culminating in 7 angles for the first set on March 4th. The shoot was organized by Christopher Darrow of Synesthesia Studio, who also edited and produced it. A White Album Christmas (Promotional Video) Filmed on December 19th 2008, this show was one of many themed collaborations currently arising between various sects of the Portland art and music community. It was a Wanderlust Circus event set to the timeless tunes of The Beatles White Album performed live in its entirety by the The Nowhere Band. Famous (Video Mix) This is a mix of footage from the SOAK 2009 Fire Conclave Shot and mixed with sampled footage to showcase live effects with live action, the instinatnious feedback of images from an event at that same event, and the interesting possibilities of mixing video clips to make something new. Though this version was recreated after the fact, the footage was projected on to the main screen at the event with effects about 40 minutes after the performance. Sea (Album) San Francisco singer/songwriter Cohen from the label "Gypsypop" wanted a simple, clean, clear sound for his back-to-basics album, Sea. In his words: "'Sea I' is the first part of a collection of songs that have haunted the horizon for ages. Love songs & ballads in a time of change. These tracks are 'one take' recordings, rare as a moment." Said Cohen of recording at Synesthesia Studio, "I had expected just to get a song or two down but the atmosphere was very comfortable and intimate and I liked the way each song was coming out.
